Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputies and the Crete Police Department continue to search for Lisa VanMeveren, 17, missing from her home, near SW 58th and West Bennet Rd. north of Martell, since Monday (May 20).

The Crete campus commencement for Doane College was held inside the Haddix Recreation and Athletic Center on Sunday, due to pending storms, only the third inside ceremony in the last 26 years, according to one professor.

According to a release from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, two juveniles and one man was arrested after the Friend Police building was broken into on Wednesday, May 15.
