Crete Volunteer Fire Department members were joined by mutual aid from Southwest Rural to fight a controlled burn that became unmanageable Friday afternoon on SW 100th, south of West Sprague Road.

All three age groups hunted for eggs at the same time this year when Radiant Springs Church moved their annual Easter egg hunt from Crete City Park to Tuxedo Park for more space to spread out about 10,000 plastic eggs filled with candy and prize tickets.
