Crete tennis team picks up first win

The Crete High girls’ tennis team picked up their first dual meet win of the season in a 1-1 week, defeating Nebraska City 6-3 Thursday in Crete following a 6-3 loss at Lincoln Christian Thursday.

Cardinal entries will play in the Class B state tourney Thursday and Friday at the Abbott Sports Complex in Lincoln. Pairings can be found at the Nebraska School Activities Association website (www.nsaahome.org).
