The Crete Legion Seniors baseball team posted a 2-1 record in the Clash at Plum Creek at Seward, falling to Waverly 4-2 Thursday before topping Valparaiso Saturday 7-3 and Lincoln Amigos 9-5 on Sunday.

Three recent Crete High graduates and four others from area schools have been named to the Southeast Nebraska All-Star volleyball and basketball games, to be played at Southeast Community College-Beatrice on June 14 and 15.
